COVID Protocols in Place

This is our youngest group of children. This classroom is a shoe-less environment with at least 1 teacher for every 4 children. The class has daily notes that are taped to the white board. Teachers log daily activities of the children such as body eliminations, times child has eaten and what was consumed, nap times, etc. DOT Tot provides diapers, wipes, and infant cereal. Parents provide formula and pureed foods. Behind the partition is the nap area. We provide a teacher that monitors the napping children logging the checks every 15 minutes. These checks include looking at the child’s coloring and making sure child is napping on the backs (unless indicated otherwise on the child’s enrollment paperwork). Children stay in the Pooh room until they are at least 12 months old and walking. Our preference is that the children walk before they move to the Elmo room, although each child is different based on their development. This classroom has a maximum enrollment of 8 children.
