About Pooh's Corner
Pooh's Corner is our youngest class, open to children ages 6 weeks to approximately 12 months. We have a motto with our babies: spoiled is okay - spoiled rotten is bad! We love to hold and sing to our babies. We also work on interactive finger plays, songs, and books and assist in the development of rolling, crawling, and walking. Some centers move the children to a new room as soon as they are 12 months - not us. We keep our babies in the infant room until they begin to walk. This gives them the opportunity to learn how to walk confidently without fear of being knocked over by bigger children.
Meet Our Teachers
Anna – Teacher
I joined DOT Tot in August 2019. I have been in the child care field since 2008 and enjoy working in the infant room. I have worked with different age groups, but the babies are my favorite group to work with. I have a BA in Child Development. I am very flexible. I felt "called" to DOT Tot and applied for a few different positions. I was extremely happy to be offered the Infant Nap Area Teacher Position and look forward to many years with DOT Tot.
