About the Tigger Bug and Lady Bug Classes

The Tigger Bugs and Lady Bugs classes are where our 2 to 3-year-olds focus on treating others with kindness and respect, using appropriate manners and following directions.  We have two classes for this age range in order to maintain a lower than mandated class ratio (6 children to 1 teacher, rather than 12 to 1). This lower ratio provides your child with more one-on-one attention and assistance. Our Tigger Bugs and Lady Bugs continue reviewing their shapes and colors while being introduced to numbers and the alphabet.  We also have a special emphasis on the potty-learning process in this classroom, and children are gently encouraged to participate at their own pace and comfort level.

 

Meet Our Teachers

​Anna – Teacher

​I joined DOT Tot in August 2019. I have been in the child care field since 2008 and enjoy working in the infant room.  I have worked with different age groups, but the babies are my favorite group to work with.  I have a BA in Child Development.  I am very flexible.  I felt "called" to DOT Tot and applied for a few different positions.  I was extremely happy to be offered the Infant Nap Area Teacher Position and look forward to many years with DOT Tot.
