Welcome to the Tigger Bug's Class
About the Tigger Bug's Class
The Tigger Bugs Class is where our 2-year-olds focus on treating others with kindness and respect, using appropriate manners and following directions. Our Tigger Bugs also continue reviewing their shapes and colors while being introduced to numbers and the alphabet. We also have a special emphasis on the potty-learning process in this classroom, and children are gently encouraged to participate at their own pace and comfort level.
Meet Our Teachers
Billy Ellington - Teacher
I joined DOT Tot February 2019. I began working with kids in 2011. I have worked with school age kids as well as preschool kids. I took a short break from being a teacher and missed working with children so I went to that profession. I'm a very calm patient person and really enjoy working with the 2 year old's. I hope to be with DOT Tot for a long time and enjoy it here.
Andrea Manza - Teacher
I joined DOT Tot in August 2019. Although this is my first teaching experience I have worked with a lot of different children. I come from a big family and have helped care for siblings, cousins, and other young family members. I really look forward to this experience. Along with utilizing what I have learned in college, putting into practical use, I look forward to what I can learn from the current staff, as well as the children. I speak Spanish and hope to incorporate that into the classroom.
This Month We Are Learning
Our themes this month are transportation, table manners, shapes, and continuing on how to use the potty.
