Sunbeams Room (4-5 year olds)
The main goal for the Sunbeam class is to prepare them to be successful for Kindergarten. These children will have a weekly lesson plan and will continue to work on letter and number concepts. In addition, they will begin writing their names, working on sight words, and they'll be introduced to some basic math skills. Although we take preparing your children seriously, we know how important it is to keep things fun. We don’t want to burn them out before they formally start school so we want to encourage and invite them into their learning. We will communicate with parents where their child’s strengths are as well as where they might need a little more help at home. There is one teacher for every 10 children at all times.
